Ryan Christopher Wright

Biography

Ryan C. Wright is a MSc student of Game Design at the IT University of Copenhagen. He holds a BA in Literature and Languages from Reed College, and as of September 2018 is working as an assistant at the Center for Computer Games Research.

Research Interest

His research interests focus on game hermeneutics and philosophical aesthetics. He’s particularly interested in how formulations of play by Kant and Gadamer can inform a play-based interpretive framework for videogames.
