The impact of BOTs on Twitter’s network topology

Recently BOTs have often been framed as a problem or as a threat to online communication. Nevertheless there are multiple functions that BOTs performs that are often useful and key in maintaining the information flowing within Twitter’s network. The project aims at measuring how different strategies of BOT  removal will affect the overall Twitter’s network structure and its effectiveness as a communication medium.
