The Centre for Digital Culture at Kings College London (UK) is currently hosting Surveillance and Moral Community (SAMCOM), a project led by Dr. Vita Peacock. Approaching surveillance as a social relationship, the network is particularly interested in ‘participatory’ surveillance, such as that enabled by digital devices.

In September, MDMP PI Rachel Douglas-Jones participated in a launch roundtable alongside hosts Vita Peacock, Deniz Yonucu, Rune Steenberg and discussants Brian Jefferson, Bruce Kapferer, Natasha Schüll.

A recording of the roundtable discussion, which touched on questions of method, ethics and theory is available below.
