Programme

We will host a full-day workshop (10 – 16), face-to-face in Bilbao to make room for time-intensive activities focused both on hands-on materializations and discussions on the materializations produced.

The workshop activities will include a brief session of showing basic Quipu knots and two main sessions of knotting data: the first focused on individual materializations and the second on collective materializations, zooming out of individual bodies to identify relations among bodies.

We will end with presentations of the knot materializations in a plenary session and reflections on what happens when we put data into our hands to work with and think through strings, beads, and tying knots.

You can also attend a part of the workshop, as we will prepare a shorter version as well.
