Rosemary Lee delivered a presentation on her concept of the “expanded image”, which she developed through a media archaeological examination of automated image processes. This presentation was part of a symposium and exhibition entitledSCREENSHOTS: Desire and Automated Image organised by Magdalena Tyzlik-Carver, who is an assistant professor at Aarhus University. Lee’s artwork The image is a machine. was also presented in the adjoining exhibition at Galleri Image.
