Transforming data work through predictive healthcare

Subproject 1 studies the affective implications of living with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator and how this transforms practices of care and data work. Additionally, the project explores the impact of predictive technologies within remote cardiac care. The research design is built on the framework of careful intervention, consisting of ethnographic data collection, design interventions and speculative design, aiming to explore the interdependent relations within ICD care collectives and co-create preferable futures.
