TRACE project members Safra Martinussen, Mai Hartmann, Anna Vallgårda and Pelin Karaturhan, together with Niklas Kline Lange Frost, organized and facilitated a workshop named “Developing a Vocabulary to Critique Design of Healthcare Technologies” at the very first Interactive Health Conference in Porto, Portugal. Together with our participants, we discussed a variety of healthcare technologies spanning from mobile apps to physical examination devices, and identified tensions to consider in their design process. We will continue looking for these tensions, and our next step is to organize another workshop.
