With a focus on the engineering aspects of robot construction, Morten&#8217;s projects evolve around improving how robots communicate affective information. This is achieved through expanding knowledge on the means of which robots express themselves and the software that controls their behaviour. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Morten holds a BA and MA in software development which he received at the IT-University of Copenhagen. &nbsp;His current projects include optimising scolding reception for affective robots and determining a strategy for construction affective-neutral robots. He has received several research scholarships and will be joining the University of Southern California in spring 2020 for a joined project on generating empathy in socially assistive robots. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His lates publications include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M.
