Hi!

I'm Lara, a PhD Student and Design Researcher based in Copenhagen.

Iā€™m interested in exploring the ways in which technologies influence and reshape our understanding of reproduction and fertility. My research project aims to understand how these technologies become part of our daily lives, the way we make sense of our fertility and plan for the future.

Such technologies include the rapidly growing number of digital apps that are used by people to track their menstrual cycles and fertility. But also, more medical technologies, like ovarian reserve testing and early fertility examinations.

I will reach out to you to find a time to talk about your experiences and thoughts for about 30-60 min. Interviews can be conducted online or at a place convenient for you.
There are no requirements regarding age or gender. I am happy to talk to everyone who is navigating these topics.

    My name is Lara Reime and I am a PhD Fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen. In my PhD project I am combining design, ethnographic and feminist methods to investigating the different ways technologies mediate and (re)configure the temporalities of reproductive bodies.
