Where is the local library? Where is the best school? Where is the crime low? Geospatial questions can be asked and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) can answer. At the same time predictive analysis can be conducted to see what the future brings. This publicETHOS workshop will focus on the value of geospatial analysis and will give some interesting examples on what geospatial analysis are capable of.<\/p>\n
Esri, the worldleader in GIS, has developed ArcGIS, which are used by students and professionals all over the world. From simply mapping areas to make demographic analysis before an election to make predictive analysis on crime on behalf of crime data through a period of time.
