We encourage students and interested parties to register below to participate in the session, which will introduce you to the new Smart M.Apps platform. The session will prepare you to enter the IGNITE competition, a global competition that challenges you to come up with the best use of map and geographic data to create an innovate B2B business model on a cloud-based app platform. Read below for more information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">IGNITE is a competition to create an innovative Hexagon Smart M.App\u00ae that will solve real world issues in a smart, fresh way. It is aimed at generating a new developer community in new\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">markets, as well as stimulating fresh ideas within traditional domains of mapping. Interested parties are invited to build a dynamic information experience, focusing on a\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">mainstream, global issue that is applicable to a large market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">IGNITE is a call to innovate around six core themes that Hexagon believes are important to the future of our Earth and sustainability of our society. Below are the six key themes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Finance<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Food<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Safety<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Infrastructure<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Health<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Conservation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The goal of IGNITE is to encourage the development of meaningful and useful applications that help us better understand our dynamic planet, so that we can more effectively\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">shape smart change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Hexagon Smart M.App platform revolutionizes the ability to derive current, key business insights that are applicable to organizations extending far beyond the typical\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">geospatial marketplace.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Cash Prizes<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">From all Business Plans submitted to IGNITE, 20 Finalists will be selected and announced at HxGN LIVE Anaheim in June 2016.
