We are in for a treat – welcome to Northumbria!
Find the final programme here: DORS6 programme
You can now register for the upcoming symposium at the Northumbria University event site.
There are early bird opportunities to the end of March – see more here
We are so glad you found us – the URL-trouble in November really was bad timing! But lo and behold, we had three fantastic keynotes added to the program and present you with an abstract deadline extended into next year – read more in Call for Papers!
Hooray: from May 31 to June 2, 2023, DORS#6 is hosted at Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK. For now, we’ll use this site for our CFP and practical info.
At the very successful DORS#5 we decided to get the Death Online Research Network a better web presence, and thus this blog will slowly transform itself into a bridge between past and future (waiting for and supporting a proper website to evolve).
Wednesday this week, we will finally start the symposium Death and the Digital: Methods, Challenges and Interdisciplinary Convergences. The coordinating committee and your local hosts look forward to welcoming you – stay tuned for mails with access information and more fun stuff too!
The registration is now open – see more at the registration page. Welcome to a very interesting event – the full program will be released March 1, 2021.
The abstracts are in – there are so many interesting research perspectives on Death Online!
February 1 all authors are notifed, and the registration opens the same day. We are in for a treat – and the low-cost set-up (Zoom) means that we are able to offer the symposium to junior reseachers for free!
As academic forgetfulness seems to go hand in hand with the pandemic, we put a week’s worth of elastic in the deadline! Please submit your abstract within this week – see the call here
