Nils Ehrenberg
Visiting PhD student

Nils is a Doctoral Candidate of Arts at the Aalto University Department of Design in Finland. Prior to the Doctoral studies Nils holds a Master’s Degree in Interaction Design from Malmö University where he also worked as a research assistant working with smart learning environments and multi-modal learning. Nils has also worked with smart furniture at the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute.

When researching the smart home Nils has explored it from a perspective of disciplinary technologies and how they re-shape the lives and social relations of the residents both in private homes and co-living spaces.

Nils is currently a guest researcher at ITU as part of the CAPE project, which explores civic agency and digitalization in a library context.
